If applicable, include any college transcripts reflecting dual enrollment coursework. 3. **Send Your Test Scores (Optional)**: Tufts has adopted a test-optional policy through the 2022-2023 admissions cycle. While submitting SAT or ACT scores is optional, they can bolster your application if they reflect your academic potential. 4. [**Letters of Recommendation**](https://www.admithero.com/blog/guide-to-requesting-letters-of-recommendation-for-college-applications): You need one recommendation from a counselor and one from a teacher. Choose individuals who can discuss your intellectual curiosity, character, and engagement. 5. **Showcase Your [Extracurricular Activities](https://www.admithero.com/blog/understanding-which-extracurricular-activities-colleges-value-the-most)**: Tufts values active community members. Highlight your involvement in clubs, sports, volunteer work, or part-time jobs. 6. **Craft Your Essays**: Tufts requires a few supplemental essays. These are your chance to showcase your personality, interests, and reasons for choosing Tufts. ### Making Your Application Stand Out - **Demonstrate Interest**: Show why Tufts is your top choice. Discuss specific programs, clubs, or initiatives that align with your goals. - **Use Your Voice**: Authenticity is key. Use your essays to express your unique perspective and experiences. - **Highlight Your Strengths**: From academics to extracurriculars, illuminate the skills, achievements, and experiences that make you a strong candidate. In conclusion, the Tufts application process involves multiple components, each providing an opportunity to highlight different aspects of your profile. By understanding these components and strategically showcasing your strengths, you can create an application that resonates with the admissions team.
